Default Fuel Injector Questions

Are there any injectors for the Neon DOHC that are interchangeable with anything else? Because I know (just for example) the 05 Evo injectors fit a 1gn Talon, and it 560cc. The 1gn Neon that I got has 24lb injectors, is this sufficient for an SRT Turbo?[>:] Just want to make sure the previous owner left me the right setup.

Thanks guys[8D]

the stock neon injectors will work fine for up to about 10psi...anything higher and the bigger injectors would be needed.....

1st gen eclipse gst injectors are interchangable with 97-99 neons.....i dont know what the flow rate it, but they work.....i have a set out in my garage that i used for a while...
ive also got a set of 30# accel injectors that will be for sale here soon

srt injectors work in our first gens too... but beware of really really rich fuel. does anybody know the flow rating of the 03 srt4 injectors? they are the stage0 injectors because 04-05 srt's were supposed to come with stage 1 injectors stock.

just found a post that solves my question i think.
http://www.srtforums.com/forums/f10/...tor-size-1611/

i guess the 40-45 lb/hr rating is why i run so dam rich without boost lol.. or my regulator on yet

yea... it runs like a cammed out small block rite now with the srt injectors in it on stock fuel pressure. after like ten minutes the computer shuts fuel down some though and it runs better but if i hammer down the throttle it has loads of torgue till 4500 rpms but after that it breaks down really bad and losses power

stock fuel pressure is 49psi....with 47# pound injectors, you should run steady with a baseline fuel pressure of about 20psi

you will still need either the spoolboy mod or an external pump......with the stock injectors under 8 pounds of boost your fuel pressure should be sumwhere around 100-120psi or so....therefor with 47# injectors you will still need the fuel pressure to reach about 80psi while under boost, but you wont get that high unless you do the spoolboy mod ror add the external pump
