why srt-4's are just modded 2.4's don't waist your time just build a 2.4 from a stratus it will get you the same power

 

hell you don't even need a 2.4 to be fast

 

yea you can do that and have more money and time in the motor when you could just get the srt 4 motor and take the money you save and do the stage up grades because unless you are planning on going over 500 hp you don't have to mess with pistons and rods

 

well you could do a 2.4 swap with srt4 pistons and turbo it. that should be close to the amout of money you have ther, maybe a little more.

 

if i had about $1700, i would sell my neon and take that money and the 1700 and buy a dakotaor lift my durango

if i had 1700 i would do the swap...but i don't belive in engine swaping...it's like changeing the soul of the car...my 2.0 sohc can still put down some good power but the 2.4 is the better of the two...i cant wait to rebuild the stratus for racing
