Default HELP! oil light

Ok so my car is having some problems and i dont know where to start. The oil light keeps coming on, at first it was only on in the lower rpm range then it would fade out after it got passed like 4k. but now after i start it it comes on after like a minute of driving and doesnt go off or fade out or anything, i just replaced the sending unit about 8 months to a year ago and its not leaking any oil at all, i work at a jiffy lube and i change my own oil, the pan doesnt leak the gasket on the filter doesnt leak and it doesnt burn any oil at all, it changed it less than 1k miles ago. It also feel like there is a noticable loss in power, like maybe it is starving for oil or there is no pressure, but there is no wierd sound or knock. My manager says it is probably the oil pump. Does anyone know whats going on!!!!![:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@][:@]please help!

Confirm your oil pressure with a real gauge and then take a look at the wiring.

After my oil light did that i seen oil all over, turned out to be a bad sending unit. If the pressure is good check the idiot light wiring.

Checking the oil pressure with a real gauge will let you know if there is a problem with the sending unit or the oil pump. If it's good, then you probably have a short in the wiring somewhere.
