gas fill tube replacement
whenever i fill my tank, i have a pretty noxious gasoline fume that follows my car for a gallon or so. i can't even park in my garage, and there are drops hitting the ground from the wheelwell area instead of from under the tank. do the fill tubes in these vehicles go bad ever? it seems to have undercoating peeling off of it, so it may very well have rusted out. is there a good product available to replace them? is it wise to go to a junk yard, or would a piece of rubber gas hose from summit do the trick? thanks.
the filler tubes do have a tendencey of going bad. from what i understand its pretty hard to find good used ones.
ive never tryed it, but ifyou have alot of trouble finding one maybe you could use a universal radiator hose.
