strut tower mount plague?

Default strut tower mount plague?

i just had to replace the rear right strut mount in my 96, are these vehicles plagued with this problem, or do i just have a one in a million? just curious, thanks.

Rear right strut mount also broke in my 97. Ha ! I thought it was a combination ofmy driving style and lunar crater-sized potholes.

the mounts just use a floating rubber design....depending on how much weight you usually haul around, your driving style, and road conditions, you may need to replace them every 50,000-75,000 miles

i'm guessing that since the gas tank is in the rear, and i like to keep mine full, and its on the curb side, that's why it went out. thanks for the input.

Rule of thumb would be every time you replace the struts.
