how far can you safely mill down a sohc head not crazy mill but safely mill????

does it matter what cam you have???

 

if you do it, remember to figure out your piston pop up, and then dont take to much off or the piston and valves wont like it

 

If you have an sohc neon, you can get dohc piston and bump your compression up to 10.3:1, rather than shaving the head. Head milling is a correcting method used to give a true flat surface to a damamged head. It can be used this way, but if perils strikes you may e stuck without a chair when th music stops. Food for thought.
