Default flex plate bolts

hey u all, kinda new at this..so please bear with me.....Here we go,i have a 95 neon w/5 spd trans. totally stock, and regularly spanks 5.0 mustangs..anyway, After one of those spankings,i noticed the car shaking when clutch is released barely from the floor,So i called around for a clutch kit, 160.00 from auto zone, then i found a trans from a wrecked neon that the owner had just replaced the clutch, so i purchased it for 100.00, saving 60.00 bucks or so, i thought . after removing the old one from the car and comparing the two, i noticed the clutch and pressure plate on the new one was made together and the old one seperates, also the new one is about 1 1/2 inches thinner than the old one, To make a long story short, i have a manual trans with a flexplate, original bolts are 12.9 metric,10x 1.0 fine thread, old bolts from original trans won't work---too long , were can i find bolts to fit , or should i sell new trans. and buy a clutch kit for the old one, also i expect that clutch travel might be affected due to a thinner clutch set up, maybe a different clutch cable might take care of that, i don't know,, does anybody have a idea, thanks u all, be kool........

I'm not too familiar with manual transmissions, but I think you have a module set up and the other one is a non module set up, or vise versa.

the modular clutch would be the 1 piece.....non-modular is the one that can be taken apart...

you could try the dealership for the bolts

the dealership no longer carrys the bolts but they are a M8x1.25x17 bolt, needs to be a grade 8 bolt andneed a fairly flat head also... just went threw this about 4 days ago with the dealership... had to get the manager just to tell me the dimention of the bolts...
