now i have not had time to search but wat all do i have to do to swap my sohc for a dohc? cuz a buddy of mine gave me his old dohc fo free cuz my sohc i warped the head and cracked the block

dont listen to him he is not right...
in your sig. it says you have a 96. In 95 we all know the pcm had one long plug and 96-99 had 2. however in the 96 m/y the radiator fans were contorled by an external relay and 97-99 the pcm had the relay built in to the pcm... so you will need the engine wiring harness for a 96 DOHC and the 96 DOHC pcm to run properly you can run it on the sohc but the fuel curve and timing curves are not the same. you would mostlikly run lean at higher rpms, and thats not good.
