make sure you do some studying befor you start grinding away! you can easily do more harm than good if you dont know what your doing. study, study, study. i am lucky enough to have my dads brain to pick and he's been into this stuff since long befor i was even a twinkle in his eye, but yah study, study, study.
it never hurts to know too much about what your working on!

 

here is a pic of what a worked over dohc combution chamber looks like... (work was performed by all motor mike..) as you can see even with lots of work done not all the pockets can be removed... without making the right side uneven from the left... if you looked at a stock combution chamber it you would be able to see the pocket alot better... I WOULD NOT RECOMEND DOING THIS TYPE OF WORK UNLESS YOU HAVE DONE SUCH WORK BEFORE AND FULLY UNDERSTAND WHAT YOU ARE DOING 1 MISTAKE AND THE HEAD IS JUNK JUNK JUNK...

thanx again guys. yea this is really the first time I'm doing any of this....I am a college student studying motive power and this my 2nd head project and since this head is mine and my money I really need to know all I can so thanx again.....i'm going to do all the gasket matchingI can and valve work of coarse. was thinking bigger valves been told 1mill over is the way to go but not sure yet wanted cams too but don't think it's in my budget......I'm also going to change the springs for newer better ones.....one more thing I wanted to ask the new head I baught is out of a neonACR are there heads the same as theR/T or are they better from theget go???? my neon is a 1st gen 98 sportesspresso(or at least it used to be LoL) here are some ppics of my baby
