Dont even waste your time on cutting it off. Just fab one up i made mine out of two pieces of 2'x2' angel iron then i bolted them onto the strutandjust welded them on as they layed. Fast and simple.

how hard is it change out your mm inserts. becaus one of mine is really cracked and i want to get some stiff ones. i know you have to take the motor mounts off and press the new ones in. but is it too complicated?

Its an extremely simple installation. When i did my atx to mtx swap i got the mtx tranny mount used and it was severly ripped so i went to my local auto parts store and got the new insert but used the same steel mount bracket. Then i also had the stiff modern MM inserts to put in as well i just set it in my small bench vice and pressed them in nothing to it.
