I'm looking to buy a 2nd car for my wife, car would only be use in town.
I've been offered a 98 dodge neon with a 2.0L sohc, will require for safety a windshield and rh transmission axle seal - no rust only paint comming off some places at rocker panel. As around 230000km . He is asking 1000$.
Would like to know how much i should offer the guy but mostly...for a 98 neon at 230000km is it worth buying as a secondary car???...Any experiance with the neons from 1998 (good or bad)??

generally they arent bad cars....once 1998 came around, chrysler corrected most of the problems with the neons....
230000km...whats that, like 140,000 miles???
if it needs a windhield and an axel seal i would probally offer about $700-$800
