alright, if i upgrade to a 195 series tire, what size sidewall should i get? the normal 65 or should i make it lower to 60.

Right now i am running 185-65R14. But I have some R/T rims so i'll be also upgrading to 15" rims instead of 14"

 

WOW, I need to know just about the same thing... running 185/65/r14s need to know if I can run 195/70/r14s My work is clearencing tires like crazy for like 32 bucks a pop.... I know its a bit taller and wider but will it work...

 

where did you find 15" r/t rims????
1st gen r/t rims are 14's and 2nd gen r/t rims are 16's

on a 14 inch rim, if you wanna run 195's then a 60 series tire gives the car a really nice stance....i run 195/60-14's on all my cars....

here is a few sizes that will work...though your speedo might be a few mph off...

when I used to work at a tire store the rule of thumb was if you go down a series go up a tire size right I have the 185/60/14 sI wasthinking the 195/60/14 myself but was also comtemplating the 205/60/14 myself but I will see what the price difference is then go from there

 

I didn't see 195-50 R16 in that list which is what I run.

 

205/50-15's are great on the 1st gen neon.

I have hardly any free time at work anymore

I just ordered some 205/50HR-15 Kumho Ecsta ASTs for the ACR

 

i have hankooks on mine....but they are worn down enough that i had to go and get junk yard tires for the r/t rims....

hardly any free time at work???? isnt that how it is supposedto be???

 

I am looking for some R/T or ACR rims close by.
