Hi everyone, just bought a 98 Neon 4dr 5spd and it has issues. The ignition sticks in the start position after it has started. Got no power to any of the accessories after it has started, unless i push on a plug or relay behind the steering wheel and slightly turn the key back until i can hear the heater blower come on. Only got 1 key with the car and it is pretty worn down, cant even get it copyed. Was told by someone it would be easier to just a complete steering column from the wreackers than trying to fix it. Just wondering if anyone has had a similar problem.

 

you could just replace the ignition lock....that may fix your problem and it only take about 30 seconds to take out the old lock and put in a new one
