is the bottom end of a sohc and a dohc the same??? i have three bottom ends in my garage but all are sohc, and one that is a dohc out of a eclipse.... would the 420a block work on a dohc neon engine, i thought the onlything different from the neon and the eclipse is the heads????

 

bottom ends are the same for dohc and sohc... the only exeption other then pistons is in 95 the rod bearings are different.

as far as the 420a I'm not sure I belive its the same block... the onlything that seems to pop into my head may be wrong is the coolent and oil passeges...
