Well the manifold I made out of my original exhuast manifold, I put some beefy farmer welds on it to hold the turbo mounting plate on. Next I welded 4 bolts into the mounting plate so they act like studs so I don't have to fk around with tryin to fish bolts through and for a easier installation all together.
Then my Turbo I got is a Mitsubi****E04 that I got from a guy I sold my parts Neon to that he said came off of a 1989 Plymouth Acclaim.I had a Garrett T03turboallready but I didn't want to spend $75 on the rebuidkit (it only needed seals) so I bought the $30TE04so I could throw it on right away and feel confident.
Also another reason I went with the TE04was cuz I remember how fast the same styleturbo spooled in my brothers Acclaim he used to have soI was hooked!.
The manifold wasn't too bad, me my brother and my dad finnished it up in about 4 hours from welding to fabbing the turbo mounting surface plate.
I had gotten some pipe fittings from Ace Hardware and made myself a Oil sensor T for $5 then I bought some break line for the oil feed for the turbo. The coolent T fittings were $10 for both inlet and exit.
I didn't run a intercooler cuz I didn't want to fk around with all that piping and taking the bumper off. So what i did was I took the stock intake tube from my 98 Neon's intake system and to my amazment the part that hangs down on the stock intake tube that has a plastic block off in it fit right over my turbo outlet, so I took the plastic block off out and attached it to my turbo, it was a perfect fit! Soblocked the back off where it used to go to theair cleaner and called it good on that. For an Air Cleaner I used a small donut style air cleaner that you can pick up at Auto Zone for $12. Then I went to ebay for the must haves, Map Clamp $20 and manualboost controller for $16, got the pretty red anodized one with the sweet assblue vaccum hose.
The most expensive singlepart of my build hands down was the really nice$40 AutoMeterBoost Gauge I got from a friends Dad.

Then for the exhaust the turbo was lined up dead on ***** with the down pipe, but the down pipe was too long so I cut the pipe about 3 inches and used exhaustflex pipe to adaptthe original downpipe endfrom the turbo to the newlycut offend of the down pipe.
The beauty of my set up is that I didn't care how it looked once together as far as manifold being welded any way that works I just wanted a system that worked hassle free and I believe I got it.
