Code 12...help !
Posting this for a fellow 1gn member :
When I drive it 'normally' ie shifting @ max 3000 RPM and not giving a lot of gas, there is not really something wrong.. Just once every 10 times it miss fires a cylinder, and it stutters for a fraction of a second.
BUT..
When I really put the pedal to the metal, I can do this a few times, then all of a sudden the CEL comes on with code 12.
When this happens, I better make sure I release my throttle or it will be running on 2 / 3 cylinders untill I drive slowly for a few minutes, and then all of a sudden it runs normal again. I have had this a number of times, and almost every time this occurs when I drive fast and give a lot of gas.
Anyone has an idea what the cause is of this Rhaaaaaa of a problem?

Does ur check engine light actually come on? Because code 12 just means you unhooked ur battery within 50 starts of you car. If you havent unhooked you battery then that may be your problem. Is your cables hooked up tight? Your battery is mounted so it doesnt hit the hood when you go over bumps? I would start with checking my fuel pressure if its not the battery.
