the cam seal was another problem with the neon... it was supposed to be fixed with a superceded part tough...

 

i dont think i would use MEK, that stuff can pose serious heath hazard (AKA cancer).acetone sould work fine

 

Yeah, my mopar head gasket set came with this little metal piece that bolts into the head and keeps the cam seal in place, I didnt use it though, I think I still have it lying around somewhere if someone wants it...

 

Just be sure to vacuum out any crap that falls into the cylinders. An air gun will only blast it down between the piston and the cylinder wall.
