Can I put a srt-4 shifter into my 96 neon? And if i can, would I be better off doing that or going with a b&m short shifter designed for the first gen neon? Which would be a shorter/better shifter?

I found some review from people saying that they got the maddog sts for the first gen. neon and they have had some trouble shifting into second, and first when stopped. Have you heard any of this and do you have a maddog shifter installed yourself?

 

its not the shifter that has problem that messes with going into second... its the shifter bushings... maddog even will tell you to get a set of boogers...
