Default Oil plug question...

I was going to buy one of those Oil Drain valves that go on the oil plug of the oil pan fortooless oil changesand I don't know what size the oil drain plug hole is. Anybody know what size the hole/plug is on the Aluminum Neon Oil Pan?

I think they just sell them as metric or standard, I could be wrong though. Just a word of advise, make sure you get one that does not hang down too far, I have seen people run things over and have one of those, it rips the oil pan right off. So as long as that isnt the lowest point, your good.

Thanks for the advise Jr,

The oil plug adaptor Valve is pretty sweet, its a real short extentionI don't think it will sit much lower than flush with the bottum of thepan. Unlike alot of Guys on here I like my Neon sitting a bit higher like the stock look so I can go up steepdriveways and parking lots easier, also I don't like to go through too many obstacles with my car

Its cold out right now and I was online shopping so I really don't want to go take my plug off my SOHC Neon just to see what size it is.

i think it would be pointless just because it would prolly be cheaper to just carry a 13mm in ur car at all times.

Which is why you make sure it is not the lowest point on the bottom of your engine

Neonracer: I dont think you quite get the point of a quick drain valve. It is so you can drain your oil without having to use a wrench, less mess, faster, and is easier to drain as you can connect a hose and drain right into a container.
