Default Parking Brake

My parking brake doesn't engage after replacing rear drums / shoes / hardware / cylinders. Everything back there is hooked up fine, so I'm about 99% sure that my issue is where the cable connects to the lever inside the vehicle.

Anyone have pictures, diagrams or general help for this? I've been told that it's a huge ordeal, removing seats and the like. Also I did search the site to no avail.

Thanks in advance for any help!

you dont have to remove the seats just remove the center console and thechilton's manual will guide you how to do the rest...

Sounds like you are getting ahead of yourself there... There is an adjuster in the drum for the E brake, simply remove the rubber grommet on the rear of the drum, stick a slot head screwdriver in the hole and turn the mechanism inside. Cant really tell you off the top of my head which way, but that is your problem.
