99 R/T Suspension Question
Hi all, I have a 99 neon R/t and am getting a "clunk" sound from the front driver sidewhen I drive over speed bumps and around fast corners. I have also noticed a bit of a stability/handling difference when going around corners. Theres 117,000 miles on the car. It seems likely thatits time to replace the shocks, judging by the number of miles. However, could bushings need to be replaced as well? Also, is it a tough job to replace the shocks er cartidges since all four corners are macpherson struts? Any help is much appreciated!

RE: 99 R/T Suspension Question
yes it would be a good idea to replace all struts and strut mounts all the way around. best ones would be KYB- GR2's for struts, unless you want to pay 600 - 700 for some Koni'S strut mounts i think about any one will do make sure you grease the front when you install them for the Rear you wont need the spring compressors but for the front its a good idea to have also a good inpact gun will cut about 2 hours off the install time
