Couldn't say myself. I do know that the LSD's are going through an extensive, and punishing testing fase. Once the results are released, I will decide to get one or not.

 

Thats what i'm sayin I wanna hear from a few people that have used it for a while.

 

The LSD is made by OBX. There are quite a few people on the Honda forums that have them in there cars and swear by them. There are a number of Hondas that are turbocharged, making upwards of 500hp at the wheels that have had no problems using them. Even when drag racing.

The main reason for the price difference is that Quaife is made in England, and OBX is made in Japan. So the Labor cost is one of the major reason for the dramatic price difference.

 

I could see that, do you know when they will be available for our cars?

 

The company is still in the testing phase. They say late Jan. - early Feb.

 

Has anyone used are heard of the phantom Grip LSD? Modern perfomance sells them & i have heard in a few forums that they are better than the Expensive ones. I think they ar about $300.00

 

the phantom grip is a cheap version of the LSD....i would rather not have one then spend the money on a phantom grip

 

the OBX lsd is already on modern performance for like $500.

Is that picture on the website correct for a Phantom Grip Limited Slip Differential?? it does not look like either of the other LSD.

I can see how it would help with Drag Racing - but how would LSD help with Course Racing? Would it make that much of a difference? How much HP would you loose to the LSD?

Do the LSD come complete?? do you have to modify your Tranny to install a LSD? does it bolt right into the Tranny?? I assume you would remove some of the stock parts to accomdate the LSD?
