My friend recently bought a missing link for his Turbo Neon and they sent him a missing link for a 1995 Neon when his is a 1999 with the integrated map/iat sensor, he didn't think anything of it when he bought it because it was listed for 95-99 use but when he recieved it and tried to put it in it turns out his map/iat sensors probe was too long for the missing link. So he contacted the seller and has yet to get a reply but in the mean time he wants to know if he can do any mods to make this missing link work if he ends up stuck with it.

He's tried cutting the plastic off around the probe of the map/iat sensor so it fits in the missing linkand so far it has worked but only as a "for now"he can't use mid throttle or go up sharp hills very well unlesshe floors it or go very easy on the pedal which provides some problems as you can imagine.

Any Ideas would be great

 

other then getting the right missing link the other option is getting a map clamp... there about 15 bucks on ebay

 

How do you connect the map clamp to theintegrated iat/mapsensor set up?

This missing link problem is hard to figure out I can't believe they have the dual sensor like that... so stupid [&:]
