i drove my 97 2.0 dohc neon in my garage the other day and went to start it up to leave and it has no spark to the plugs. so i did a test to the wires goin to the coil and the center wire has power but no power the the out side wires. its getin gas. the center coil wire goes to the fuse box next to the motor but the 2 outside wire go to the computer with no power to them??? if anyone can give me any ideas to go by. thanks

 

there wont be any "power" from the outside wires just really quick pulses... normal electronic multi-meters wont be able to pick up... those wires send a pulse from the pcm to the coil pack to tell the coil pack when to send a spark to the cylinders... so really your back to square one...

same thing happen to me wanted to crank but woulnd turn over my coolent sen wires melted and grounded out

 

i cleaned up my grounds and put another ground on the frame and then i tried to start it and it started right run good.
