Default From SRT4 to R/T

Ok guys... I'm picking up this 98 Neon R/T with 150k on it this coming Monday... the car has a spotless interior... and this is the list of things he made me with the car. Tell me what you think and how much you would paybased off the information below.

Here's what's wrong.

--Downstream O2 sensor wiring harness is cut halfway through from rubbing against driveshaft.

--Paint is a lil rough in places!! Clearcoat is still attatched but it's doing some funky "snowflake" looking stuff on the edges of the hood and on the C pillar. The rest is actually in pretty good shape for it's age. I haven't waxed her in ages so I think a good wash wax and claybar would bring the life back! The ram head decal on the hood is dying.
--Passenger headlight is burnt out. Easy fix.
--Altenator belt needs replaced/tightened. It squeels pretty bad when you turn the ac on at a stop. If you turn it on after you are moving all is well. It's def the alternator belt cause it will also squeel sometimes when you first drive her in the morning and you put a heavy load, like turn the fan to high, or crank the radio.
-- Throw out bearing is really noisey at idle with the clutch dis-engaged. ( Common thing I believe )
--side motor mounts are pretty much dead. No clunking... but vibration at idle.
--Door windows are pretty scratched up from the window regulator ( no big deal to me )
--Washer fluid nozzles are clogged haven't worked for years.
--Need wipers.
--Air filter is getting old (re-useable iceman intake)
--underside has some dents in it where I jacked it up all the time with the floor jack. Can't see it.
-- needs repair on positive battery cable (no big deal)
-- The rpm needle looks like it gets stuck at 3k and then jumps to about 3.5k

Here's what's right!.

--Replaced in the past year
--Coolant/brake/power steering flushed
-- All 4 tires
--Spark Plugs

--Replaced at 100,000ish miles…
--Struts and Springs. With factory R/T struts, and mopar performance sport sprigs. Including all upper strut mounts and bushings. (OEM)
--Brakes and rotors all the way around (OEM nothing fancy)
--Headlights, tail lights, and parking lights. (OEM)
--Clutch, TO bearing, clutch cable, rear main seal, tranny fluid (PT cruiser modular clutch for higher clamping force and less pedal effort)
--AC compressor, air dryer, and seals.
--Alternator
--Entire dash (got broken into, can't tell)
--Intake manifold gasket, valve cover gasket.
--Headliner

--Replaced on head Job at 104,000 miles
--Cams, cam seals, hydraulic lifters, roller rockers, water pump, timing belt, valve seals, springs, retainers. Using this kit. Work done by head mechanic for Greenbriar dodge (in his garage, lol) I have pics of the head job as well. Along with a valve job too! http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_192&products_id=160 8 I still have the stock cams in great shape too.
--Upgrades (the good stuff
--MP 60mm aluminum TB http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_204&products_id=142 7
--MP Mopar performance computer http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_204&products_id=142 9
--MP Under drive pully http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_204&products_id=165 7
--MP header http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_206&products_id=145 6
--MP exhaust http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_206&products_id=166 9
--2.4 black powdercoated valve cover
--MP short throw linkage
--MP shifter **** http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_208&products_id=128 2
--MP booger bushings http://www.modernperformance.com/product_info.php?cPath=160_208&products_id=168 1
--MP msd plug wires
--EGR blockoff kit
--Solid front motor mount
--Sunroof (No leaks, creaks a bit though)
-- White gauge overlay with the ole' indiglo!!

This is all I can think of right now. The motor runs fine and burns no oil. I have used M1 synthetic since the day I got her. Still change at 3000 miles BUT it's lacking power big time! I think if you fix the O2 issue and replace the Cone filter for the intake that will help a lot!! Like I said I drive it back and forth to work every day. And the past 60,000 miles were litteraly all highway. I haven't tracked it except for a few times. (14.8 at 98 was my best at her prime)

Default RE: From SRT4 to R/T

Without the mods, I would say $1500. But with the mods, I would say from $1700-$2000. Just a rough estimate. Sounds like a fairly nice car though.

Yeah i'm def. excited about it. I'll post pics Monday more than likely. Not sure if I'm going to hang onto it for a daily driver or put a srt-4 motor in it. We'll see what happens... I loved my srt4, but i'm not sure i want another fwd racecar.

With everything fixed how much do you think it would go for ?

Yes, do you remember the reckless ticket I got ? I was advised to get rid of the car or risk doing the jail time. (30 days) I sold the car and got something else for my daily driving (08 mazda 6), and am currently looking at a 92stang for my next racecar. I might just give the Mazda to my ol'lady, sell her car, and buy a 350z. I dunno, we'll see. I pick up the neon today. Paying $950....will be listing it for sale in a week for $2500, thanks for the info. They are very rare in this area.
