In plain english, the phantom grip is four springs between two pieces of metal, putting pressure on the spider gears to limit play/movement. The Quaife and /or OBX are a series of gears, wahers and other parts thatbalance out the biased power distibution of a cars drivetrain. Which is better? Well that depends on your power output and setup goals. Ultimately, the Quaife has the best design. The PG can be made for $30. I used to do it, if you'd reference the link. Not hard at all. i'd prefer the Quaife, but i have high goals. A street cars would be fine with a PG type application.
