Default How do I pull off cam gear?

I have a 96 neon SOHC that I am fixing up and I can't seem to get the cam gear off. Any help? I have tried to lock it into place with a flat bar and loosen it with a breaker bar and socket. Do I need a special tool?

you have to put 2 M-80's behind it and run.

Are you talking about the bolt? Use an impact.

Yes, the bolt is what is stuck. I don't have an impact wrench though. If I just need to put more torque on the bolt, I will. I just didn't want to break anything.

Possibly use a oil filter wrench or something similar to hold the cam gear may work, but impact is defiantly the way to go.
