Default WTB: stock DOHC pistons

well went to the junk yard to get DOHC pistons and put into my sohc and after taking the head off the pistons had rust.....so i justbought the head.(project down the road). but for now i want to put dohc pistons into my sohc for a few more horses. so i am looking to spend around $50 anybody with a good set pm me. thanks.

get the ones with rust and have them cleaned up. as long as the ring lands and the skirts are okay you sould be fine.

???? are you sure they will be fine?? would like other opinions, not that i doubt you, its just if this messes up my engine i cant afford to fix it. figure it would mess up compression, create ruff edges, etc. oh and cant afford to take them somewere to have them cleaned up. would have to do it myself. the less i spend on this the better.

I will have 4 out of an engine that still runs but has a bad bearing.

It's just like the rust on brake rotors. Clean them off and they are fine.

Perfectly put. If you wanna be cautious, have they magnafluxed for cracks at a machine shop.
