Default SRT Tranny!

does anyone if the srt4 tranny comes with an LSD? If so is it compatiable with our blocks? n what would i have to get or do in order to work with my chassis n electrical harness??

The 03's do NOT have the LSD in them but the 04-05 do have the LSD in them. Yes they will fit the 2.0 but it is a much bigger trans. but should squeeze in. I have the engine and trans in my gen1 neon

Expect to alter the tranny mounts too! Personally, I wouldn't do it.. Just buy an LSD for your current tranny.. There are known problems with the SRT-4 tranny.. One of them is 3rd gear going out.. Another is the syncros aren't the best.. I'd just beef up your current tranny if anything..

Haven't had no problems with mine and it has been a year and a half & I do give it hell all the time

u think the phantom gripwill work with a 96 cable actuated tranny? and if theirs a big difference in performance in hydraulic or cable tranny???

PG is not worth the money. That can be made for $30. I'd look into the turbo PT trans over the srt. Much taller gears for boost.
