Default custom exhaust

i dunno why i want a side exhaust so much... i went with an actual muffler instead of just a resonator. i figured it was a good idea since i dont have a catalytic converter.

1. how much trouble will a side exit cause me on the driver's side. i know the fuel lines are a concern.

2. do you have any other suggestions?

sidenote: my neon actually has 2.0" tubing (mustve beena late 99 model) i just figured out that most of you guys have 2.25" from the factory.

as of right now im planning on the most accepted option.

magnaflow 4" total diameter round muffler in center exhaust tunnel near the rear of the car before the first 90 degree bend. tail pipe making two 90 degree turns and about 4 45 degree too get up and over the rear suspension. then straight out the back on the driver's side to polished tip(s)

you ever thought about the dynomax exaust... its mandral bent, clamp together or push together clamp and then weld in place... It comes with hangers plus a nice muffler that you could sell on the board to get your new muffler... plus there cheap... check ebay...

and imho I would go with a flowmaster 40 series... heres a video of what it sounds like...

magnaflow 4" total diameter round muffler
Are you gonna store melons in there when the car is not on?

4" is a huge overkill [:'(]

4" is too big for a turbo application, much less N/A. It will sound like the typical civic owner who puts a 4" muffler on 1" tubing.

i ordered the magnaflow today already. i heard a dynomax on a blazer. maybe it was thevehicle but it didnt sound nice. iwent to get a flowmaster and hada magnaflow put on my blazer instead and i really really liked it. i changed my mind when the let me hear the two tached on. the magnaflow had a nice deep burble to it. i do know i only got to hear them at idle though...

magnaflow has a lifetime warranty too. flowmaster was 3 years.

ill post a vid tomorrow so you can hear it. if i dont like it i will sell it and get something different.
