will any atx tb work on a r/t dohc with out any mods?

 

im not sure about the dohc, but on my sohc it made a very big differance on both my mtx and my atx, my mtx had no mods except a shorty header, glass pack, udp, and no ac/ps, my atx only has an underdrive pulley and a glasspack

to clarify, i live in cali, seems that 99% of cali cars came with the small tb from the manual, even if they were an auto, i looked through 10 atx tranny cars at the junkyard here in cali, out of 10, only 3 had the larger bore tb

just make sure you measure them side by side to be sure

 

any will swap with no issues. just put your stock sensors in the new tb cuz you know they work with your car right already.

u dont have to measure. just look at your tb. it kind of pinches down at the butterfly a little. atx tb goes straight down. you can see the difference.
