Throwing a code 31. The car stars but I cant get the CEL to turn off I disconected the battery when I got to work andf reconected when I left, about five hours. I think its call an evap purge canister. How do I fix it? Where is it? What does it do? all that good stuff. BTW I spray up to a 100 shot with stock internals right I'm goin with a NX WOT kit it's got nozzles for up to a 150 shot. Thanx guys.

 

Evap purge canister solenoid. Its on the passengers side of the car under the hood and its on the fender. You need to replace it. It went bad.

 

Is it connected to the AC? a small tank sitting in a rubber holster. I have no clue what it looks like, or what it does. Where do I get one and how much? Probably from autozone or something right? BTW how's that turbo setup coming along Squ33?

 

No, it is not connected tot he AC. Its connected to the fuel system. I thinkits a dealer only item though.

Turbo is on hold yet again on the account of me moving.

 

Over filling the gas tank can also cause that code. I though mine was bad, I cleared the code and stopped topping off the tank and never saw the code again.
