Default so i swapped the altenator,, hlep please

ok well i got the altenator off my other neon.. and it was doing just fine till today and now im getting code 47 which is charging system voltage too low.. what could cause this... i was thinking that it could have somehting to do with the battery temperature thingy which i just have bolted into a hole up front.. cuz my battery is in the trunk,, so could that affect it or is the Altenator junk also...

oh and i searched for code 47 post but could not find any well there was like 247 results and i went through the first 3 pages and didnt find anything

anyone want to help me out

it could josh just pull the sensor... it will throw a code 44 but it wont hurt anything will just charge battery at a slower rate then if the battery was warming the sensor... I would just pull it... it could also be a combonation of the sensor and the underdrive pulley...

the pulley is slowing the alternator and then the sensor is trying to send more voltage to the battery then the pulley will alow so your thorowing a code... is your battery staying charged??? if so dont worry about it...
