what other cars have same mtx can i use one off a pyl breeze what about misuor any other car with a 2.0 or 2.4 or does it have to be a neon also will a 2nd gen work please any help will be great my j/y is having a sale $30 for trannys so i have to get one this weekend but cant find a mtx neon please help

 

a 2nd gen tranny will work all you need to do is swap bellhousings

 

You neon can use the mtx from the following: 96-99 n/a eclipse/talon, chrysler sebring, avenger, n/a pt cruiser, and of course the 2G neon. The majority of the cars I mentioned all use the hydraulic shift mechanism, so be ready to sway bell housings.

 

his bellhousing is gone he threw a diff pin...

 

yeah my housing is gone! so does it have to be a neon then or did they put this in any other cars with the same bell housing

5sp stratus and a 00 neon are the only other cars with the same cable link bell housing. I have a few if you need help, bet let me get a better engine in my car first [:-]
