does anyone know why these are not compatible with HID's?? i have an HID set and i dont wanna install them on my cloudy stock headlights...why would these not be HID compatible

good question. Looks like it's the 9007 bulb. maybe its a disclamer?

thay just say that cuz if thay melt (cuz hids get very hot) thay dont want to have to give you new ones and getting no money for them.but hids will work fine with them. i have hids from a lexus in my neon and my honda and trying to get my mom to let me put them in her 05 PT.

so i would say no. probably because it might melt the plastic. HIDs get pretty hot. at my dealership we had an Aston Martin DB9 and the plastic directly below the HID light was beginning to melt.

hid's actually run cooler, they use only 35 watts for more output then a 55 halogen, the only diff is sometimes the bulbs are a little longer
