Default 1997 neon?

So i would definately like to upgrade my 1997 dodge neon. I have a 2.0 SOHC engine with auto tranny what can i do how hard is a 2.4 L swap? where could i get an engine? or what else can i do to upgrade my car for speed and such?

I'm so sorry for your pain... I mean transmission... but hey you still are faster then a stock DOHC ATX... lol ...

First off I would look into doing a MTX swap... you can expect to pay anywheres from 300 to 500 for all the parts needed...

and the 2.4 swap isent that hard at all... going from sohc to 2.4 is a bit more expensive due to needing so many 2.0dohc parts... but it can be done for about 1000 bucks... or 600 if you have DOHC... also if you can find the parts used or in a jy really cheap you can save some big money...

The dohc parts I have now Are going on my 2.4 swap... if and when that happens... Best thing to do is to look at that post I put above and make a new post that is titled "WTB DOHC STOCK PART + MORE" and list everything on there... you will get tons of responses...
