exshaust leak &break problems

Default exshaust leak &break problems

ok i had every point of connection weld that i could thank of.i put in a new header gasket tighten everything up new donut gasket but i think it is still coming from around my header is there a high temp sealent maybe to put around the gasket.also just noticed yesterday my rear breaks grabin off and on .when i stopped to check they where smokin .didnt ride with the e brake up or anything also have disc brakes all the way around .

Yes they make a sealant you can use on the exhaust. Just get the super high temp stuff, cant remember the name of it. Permitex I think its called. I used the orange stuff and didnt have any problems with my turbo. For the brakes. You may want to check your calipers. One of them could be leaking and messing with ur brakes. That could also cause smoke to come off them when it heats up. Disc brakes are easy. if they are sticking chances are something is going out. Most shops do free brake inspections. My local Midas does. if ur car is a dohc be sure to use a new exhaust gasket. I dont use one on my sohc but I know they make them for it.

try bleeding them first, anouther thing is when the hoses get old they tend to collapson the inside.
