Default New car, new engine, new clutch...

Got a new car a little while back, got a new engine that needs to go in it, and just bought a new clutch for the motor. The directions for the clutch say i need to resurface the fly wheel... is this necessary? Or should i pop the fly wheel off the old motor and check it out and see how it looks before i do anything?

if you need to resurface the flywheel then i am assuming its a non-modular clutch

the F1 is a modular clutch and is no way to acually machine the flywheel on it its all one piece... the instrutions that come with it are just general instrutions for clutches without thought of different types of clutches... so no you do not have to do anything to it to get it to work just throw it in... the flywheel on it is allready true and straight... its brand new...
