Default help

can someone tell me what would make smoke not a lot but some smoke come up from my defrost in my 96 dodge neon and im getting a coolant smell in side my car as wellplease and thank you

i put a new head gasket on it already. I thought it was the heater core also but everyone i take too ask me if there was any wet on the passenger side of the car floor i said no and they said no it was not the heater core .......thanks have you ever messed witha heater core ? Im guessing this is going to bea task if you have any hints or tricks please let me know on how to get to the heater core with all these wires

Turn your heater on full blast on floor vents and see if it drips out. Mine put a puddle on the floor every few days. The crap was all over. I waited a long time to fix it.

yeah the heater core is a bitch... the whole dash has to come out practicly... good luck... there is no tips... its a chore to do... it takes longer to swap out the damn heater core then it takes to pull a motor...
