i couldnt find out how to do the swap. So I learned along the way. Here is what was needed. 2nd gen starter, extend wires on tb postitoning sensor, and a different radiator hose and a slimmer fan (I didnt get yet) and then it drops right it. I just used my fan and radiator hose and just kicked and bled alot. But it went in. Well here are the pics. Please leave comments or suggestions. Oh yea. today A kis with a good condition acura integra 92 coupe pulled up (I knew him) and offered me a trade. His car (which is done up with stage one upgrades) and a 4 door one with a bad tranny for my neon. Straight up. What do you guys think? Well here are the pics.

I wouldn't want an Acura in my garage. Or my driveway.

is his faster? n better shape? ignore the other car, think of it as a bonus. concentrate on the good car. would you trade your car straight up for the other "good" car? if not, i wouldn't touch it. i just did a similar thing with my motorcycle. i had an 06 ninja 500 (worth about $3500) and i traded it for an 86 GSXR 750, a 77 CB 750, and $1500. if i could go back, i wouldn't do it. the gsxr doesn't have original brakes or anything like that, the carbs were shot, and the cb is in pieces!

so there's my point. don't count on a "nearly good" car to be worth anything.

You know I thought about it. Its in great shape and it is fast. He has owned the car for over 3 years. But I looked it up on kbb and its only worth like 1.6k. I value my neon at more then that. So I will tell him I want both the cars + 600 or n0 deal. I just think the teg will be easy to sell. So I can buy another neon and start over.

the only thing i ever traded was my old 97 yamaha banshee straight up to a guy for a 2005 polaris predator 500.......i think the guy was kicking him self in the *** pretty bad, but i made out like a bandit

anyways....whenever sumone ends up trading straight up, its almost never that both parties are satisfied.......make sure you wouldnt be the one getting the short end of the stick
