I just got a 2.4l for my swap and i am ordering complete over haul kit with 10.5 compression piston just wondering what cams you would recomend running due to the fact my dohc cams are junk.

 

What are your plans with the motor???
What are you plans for the car??? ie, DD, duel duty, track only???

are you looking for massive power or just enuf to get you around town???

What kind of gas do you have avaliable to you???

Are you getting a upper and lower rebuild kit from modern???

 

My plans for the motor is to completely overhaul, the motor ran good with no noises but has 78K miles on it. I plan on replacing pistons and rods to gain compression and durabilty. I also plan on replacing the cams with something more aggresive, i also plan on replacing the springs and retainers. I want to be able to drive the vehicle in the summer quite a bit. But I also want the car to be mean at test and tune night, there is nothing I want more than to take out all the kids that bring teir parents stock camaros and mustang gt to the track.

 

as for gas I have vp race fuel avalable but I would like to keep it on pump gas at 93 octane if possible.

 

so are you ordering moderns lower and upper rebuild kits???

 

That was the plan is that stuff ok or do you recomend something else.
