Hello, i just bought a 99 neon 4 door. The rear door on the drives side will not open. Removed the door panel and all of the levers are moving, the door seems like it is locked, either handle will not open the door. Playing with the lock does no good. Any ideas on how to get the door open? I am willing to replace the door latch if i have destroy it to get the door open. Would like to turn this back to a 4 door from a 3 door, thanks for the help

 

Kick it from the inside

 

one of the rods that goes from the lock mechinism to the handles fell off the lock mechinism... try figureing out witch one and where it goes... or just open it by hand at the lock...

 

All of the rods are attached and move, there is something broken inside the door latch. I tried to kick the door from the inside, afraid that i will break the window if kick it any harder.
