Got my engine in and running well built it for the turbo. Had an Srt-4 manifold and turbo giving to me and is working well. My question is does anybody know if a cold air from an Srt-4 will fit in place on a 1st gen done this way? the batt is in the trunk and i have space avail was hoping maybe someone has done this before?

 

Cold air intake and turbo don't go together. It's one or the other.

 

turbos use ram air intakes, i think?

 

you can get a cold air intake for a turbo car....though a cold air intake for an srt4 wont fit exactly into the 1st gen....
most cold air intakes for the srt4's run the filter into the wheel well area...we dont have this option, though with some cutting, you could get the intake to work

 

just vut so the filter comes behind the fog light

 

when i had the srt4 turbo on my car, i ran the filter a few different ways...
1: the pipe cam off the turbo and sat right below the brake booster ontop of the tranny
2: the pipe came off the turbo, along the motor, and right where the battery sat
