Hello all, Hopefully I have come to the right place. My cousin has a neon and we have been doing some work on it lately, and thought I might come here for some assistance. Next weekend we are putting a head unit in it, and then we are going to do the speakers as well. I know that the rears are 6x9s, but am confused on the size of the fronts. Crutchfield.com says they are 6 3/4? Do I need to buy 6.5s and brackets or what? Thanks in advance.

neons do have 6 3/4" door speakers, but 6.5's will work if you drill new holes

 

6.5 will work and mine came with brackets and i didnt have to drill new holes
