Default neon rt clutch cable

i think my clutch cable may be mest up iam not sure the spring by the fire wall at the end of the cable gets stuck......i have no idea why it only happens when i hammer it for example all threw 1st then when i put it in 2nd its fine then by the time iam at 7000rpms ready to go to third i have no pedal but if i drive normal it never messes up i thought maybe when i push on the clutch to hard it was doing it but i tryed to get it to stick at idle by pushing the clutch reall hard and it would not get stuck only when iam hammering it i have no idea why iam about to just replace it but iam not sure where it unbolts at from the top of the tranny i see it but cant finde any thing that i can unbolt to take it off

it doesnt unbolt, there is a fork inside the tranny that it hooks onto and it just unhooks from there but it is a pain in the a$$

all you need to do is pull the cable outward from the tranny....just enough to clear the seat for the cable...once the cable is loose, pull it up and forward and it will dislodge from the clutch fork...
its actually fairly simple if you look closely at it
