need help installing an after market fuel gauge i was wondering if i could splice into the wire going to the gas gauge.or if i have to go to the sending unit.i was also wondering if someone could tell me what color the wire is i can splice into i have a manual but i can't find anything about what wire gose to the fuel gauge pls help.

 

Well there are 2 wires that hook up to the device that measure your gas. Thats all I can tell ya. Haynes manual should show which wires they are.

Its the 2 middles ones on the clip thats on the fuel pump. One of them should be signal I assume.
