Since my battery is in the truck anyone have any ideas what size fuse i should use in the trunk, or what is the max draw for the starter?

I was thinking 100 amp bus fuse, I can mount terminals on both end. If I get a short under the seat or hood somthing i want somthing to burn in half before the #2 gauge wire I used.

you would want the fuse within 12" inches of the battery.

100amp should work fine....a bus fuse would work good, but an ANL fuse would work better and you can get the ANL's is pretty big sizes...i had a 300amp ANL for my old stereo in my neon
