Im ****ing done with neons...
New Head gasket, timing belt, and water pump, ran for 1 day perfectly, then it shut down after I revved it, without anything odd, kinda like I shut the key off.
Since then, I have determined there is no spark. I have replaced:
Wiring Harness
PCM (twice)
Crank position sensor
Cam position sensor
Coil pack
Plugs
Wires
I have also reset the timing. The only key codes are 12 and 55, which mean nothing, an there are NO codes with my code reader.
Today I messed with it some more, checked the resistance on the blue/tan and black/gray wires to the coil, fine. Still have a constant 12v feed to the coil, just nothing from the driver circuits from the PCM.
Ive seriously even had a $50 reward out for awhile now for anyone that can come up with a solution, so far to no avail.
Hey ohio isnt a huge trip. If your willing to do a lower ball offer or maybe a trade for a clean atx neon I may be able to work something out with you. I hate to come up there and get it running in front of you. But I would plan to drive it back.
