i have a '96 dohc and i noticed that im developing a rod knock. tryin to figure out if it would be better to find and buy a long block and swap the head or buy a bottom end rebuild kit and get to work. last resort is sell da car but i love my sally, n i dont wanna get rid of her. if ne1 has some useful advice it would be greatly appreciated.

 

try changing the rod bearings.
