well after a week of pure hell and a emptied wallet i finnally fixed my start up and back fire problem.all this time it was the wire harness .i was checking my pipin to the egr an moved the harness and it seemed to stop sputtering .so so after i removed all the old tape and split wrap there it was 4 shiners going to the coil pack. wish i would have caught it earlier but hey at least i have a hell of a lot of new parts and alittle more hp to the ride .i found 1 problem though the sensor that sits on the intake manifold what exactly does it do.mine is broke i know it controls the temp gauge and when disconnected it seems to hold back in power to the car.

 

If the sensor your describing is the coolent temp sensor (CLT), that may hinder engine power and make starting a little rough. The pcm uses that to inject the rite amount of fuel under certain conditions.

yeah. went to azone but they couldn't find the part .are they expensive
